We recently learned that Abbotsford suffers from one of the highest poverty rates among children in Canada, yet grows the most food, per capita, in the country.
As farmers and a family of ten, this statistic deeply bothers us.
We feel that it’s our responsibility to donate as much as we can to families through the Food Bank and Blessings in a Backpack Program. No child should every be hungry. We encourage our fellow farmers to do the same.
